Lambeth is a London Borough in Central London south of the Thames.

Districts within the Borough include Brixton, Streatham, Vauxhall, Clapham and West Norwood, plus the South Bank Arts Centre.

Notable landmarks on or near the South Bank include the London Eye, the Royal Festival Hall, and Waterloo Station.

Linda Bellos was Leader of Lambeth Council from 1986 to 1988; Steve Reed has been Leader since 2006.
