Hemel Hempstead is a town in the Dacorum district of Hertfordshire. it was developed as a New Town after the Second World War.

Other LGBT history

The 8th Earl of Arran had a home in the town. The Youth Connections Dacorum Team ran a group for LGBTQ young people, which met monthly in Hemel Hempstead.
