Wiltshire is a county and unitary authority in southern England. The ceremonial county also includes the separate unitary authority of Swindon. The county includes the city of Salisbury and also Salisbury Plain, noted for Stonehenge and other ancient monuments. Other towns include Trowbridge (the county town), Devizes and Corsham.

LGBT history

The poet Siegfried Sassoon lived in Teffont Magna and later in Heytesbury.

The photographer Sir Cecil Beaton lived at Broad Chalke.

Wiltshire Council promoted events for LGBT History Month in 2013.[1]
