Hereford Cathedral and Wye Bridge

Hereford is a cathedral city and the county town of Herefordshire, situated on the River Wye.

LGBT history

Dora Carrington was born in Hereford in 1893.

There was a Hereford CHE Group in the 1970s.

In 2007 the Diocese of Hereford was found to have discriminated against John Reaney in not appointing him to the post of Youth Officer.[1]

Positive21, an independent peer support group for gay and bisexual men living with HIV and AIDS, holds meetings in Hereford.
