Hendon is an area of the London Borough of Barnet. Prior to 1965 it was a borough within Middlesex, including Golders Green.

LGBT history

Peter Mandelson went to school in Hendon.

In 2015, London House Gay Hostel was being advertised as a gay hostel in Hendon.[1]
