Golders Green clock tower

Golders Green is an area within the London Borough of Barnet. It was formerly part of the Municipal Borough of Hendon. It is mainly a residential area, with a large Jewish population.

Crematorium

Golders Green Crematorium was the first crematorium to be opened in London, in 1902.

LGBT history

Evelyn Waugh lived in Golders Green in his childhood, as did Michael Brown.

Mike Freer is MP for Finchley and Golders Green.
