Port Sunlight is a village in the metropolitan borough of Wirral, Merseyside. It was built from 1888 onwards as a model village for workers at the Lever Brothers factory, and was named after Sunlight, a brand of soap.

LGBT history

The singer Pete Burns was born in Port Sunlight in 1959.
