Walmer is a seaside town in the Dover district of Kent, adjoining Deal. Walmer Castle is the official residence of the Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports.
LGBT history
Julius Caesar is thought to have landed there on his two visits to Britain.[1]
Charles Hawtrey died there in 1988.
