Ilford is a town and former borough in north east London, now part of the London Borough of Redbridge.

LGBT History

The singer Kathy Kirby was born in Ilford in 1938, and the comedian Simon Amstell went to school there.

The Redbridge Rainbow Community meets in Ilford.[1]
