Somerset is a county in south-west England. The county council area contains five districts: South Somerset, Taunton Deane, West Somerset, Sedgemoor and Mendip. There are also two unitary authorities, Bath and North East Somerset and North Somerset, both of which were part of the short-lived county of Avon.
LGBT History
The LGBT Collective connects LGBT communities in the south-west peninsula, including Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset.
Somerset Lesbian Network was launched in 2009.
