Sharon Ferguson is a pastor in the Metropolitan Community Church. Since 2010 she has been Senior Pastor at MCC North London.[1] In 2008 she took over from Rev Richard Kirker as Chief Exective of the Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement.
In 2010 Sharon Ferguson and her partner Franka Strietzel applied for a marriage licence at Greenwich register office and were refused. The are taking the case to the European Court of Human Rights.[2]
