Location of Torfaen within Wales

Torfaen is a county borough in south-east Wales, within the preserved county of Gwent. The main towns are Cwmbran and Pontypool.

LGBT history

Leo Abse, who pushed through the Sexual Offences Act 1967, was MP for Pontypool and subsequently for Torfaen.

In 2010 the Rainbow Club were providing a group for young people,[1] and in 2012 the Rainbow Group (possibly the same organisation) were holding coffee mornings for LGBT people.[2]
