Halton is a unitary authority in Cheshire. It includes the towns of Runcorn (historically part of Cheshire), and Widnes (historically part of Lancashire). Halton, together with the five metropolitan boroughs of Merseyside, constitutes the Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership and subsequently the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.

A website was set up for Halton LGBT in 2012, but as of March 2013 contained no data. [1] It has since disappeared.
