The UK Independence Party (UKIP) is a right-wing eurosceptic political party, founded in 1993. It has never had any MPs, but has several members of the European Parliament.
LGBT issues
UKIP is opposed to equal marriage.[1]
In November 2012 Winston McKenzie, the party's candidate for the Croydon North by-election, was severely criticised by the local party chairman Peter Staveley for making remarks viewed as homophobic.[2]
