Stroud is a town and local government district in Gloucestershire.
LGBT history
The author Alan Hollinghurst was born in Stroud in 1954.
The Bell Hotel and Lock Keeper's Bar, Stroud's first gay bar, was closed in 2009 to be converted to flats.[1]
