Ramsgate Harbour Lighthouse

Ramsgate is a seaside town on the Isle of Thanet, Kent. It has a large marina, and there was a cross-channel ferry service for many years between Ramsgate and Dunkirk.

LGBT history

Gay activist Michael Steed attended St Lawrence College, a local public school.

In July 2008, a gay club, the Pride of Ramsgate, opened in the former Rainey's nightclub.[1]
