Plaid Cymru (Welsh for "the party of Wales"), formed 1925, is a political party that advocates independence for Wales. From 2007 to 2011 it was part of a coalition Welsh Government with Labour.
LGBT History
Adam Price was a Plaid Cymru MP from 2001 to 2010.
Former Labour MP Ron Davies was briefly a Plaid Cymru supporter.
Plaid Pride (formed 2010) is the LGBT affiliate group for Plaid Cymru members and supporters who identify as LGBT.[1]
