The University of Glasgow (Scottish Gaelic: Oilthigh Ghlaschu, Latin: Universitas Glasguensis, founded 1451) is one of Scotland's four ancient universities.
Originally located in Glasgow High Street, since 1870 the main University campus has been located at Gilmorehill in the West End of the city.
LGBT societies

The Glasgow University LGBT Students Association claims to be one of the largest student societies on the campus.[1] It is a former member of the LGBT Consortium.[2] In 2015 it won "Student Group of the Year" at the Scottish LGBTI Awards.[3]
