Cheshire East is a borough and unitary authority in Cheshire. In was created in 2007, uniting several previous authorities. It contains the towns of Crewe, Macclesfield, Knutsford, Congleton, Wilmslow and Nantwich. Knutsford and Wilmslow are included in the Tatton parliamentary constituency,

Burnel Penhaul contested Tatton at the 1997 general election.
