The Dumfries and Galloway LGBT Centre, opened in 2006 to serve Dumfries and Galloway, and was described as "a service operated and managed by LGBT Youth Scotland, but which works with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people of any age, as well as those who are affected by LGBT issues."[1]

A new LGBT support centre was opened in Dumfries in 2017.[2]
