Dudley Sutton

Dudley Sutton (1933–2018) was a British actor. He portrayed a gay biker called Pete in The Leather Boys, a film released in 1964. At the end of the film Pete's friend Reggie (played by Colin Campbell) leaves him when he discovered Pete is gay. The final scene depicts a dockyard gay pub.

He married American actress Marjorie Steele in 1961; she had previously been married to the millionaire producer Huntington Hartford. Sutton and Steele had one child together, but divorced in 1965.

Sutton supported gay rights. He made a short film about Gentlemen's Lavatories. His is best known for the role of Tinker in the TV series Lovejoy.
