British Transport Police

The British Transport Police is a special police force responsible for policing railways and light rail systems within Great Britain. It was founded in 1949, replacing separate police forces for the previous railway companies, and was initially called the British Transport Commission Police.

LINK provides support services on local and national issues for LGBT people within the BTP.[1]
In 2011 the BTP was ranked 35th in the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index.[2]
