Belgravia is an extremely affluent are of central London, in the City of Westminster and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, centred on Belgrave Square. Much of the area comprises the Grosvenor Estate, owned by the Duke of Westminster (the Duke's family name is Grosvenor, and one of his subsidiary titles is Viscount Belgrave).

The poet Algernon Charles Swinburne was born at 7 Chester Street in 1837.
