Ayla Holdom
Ayla Holdom (aged 34 in 2016)[1] is a helicopter pilot in the Royal Air Force.

She was outed as trans in the Daily Mail, but used the publicity to promote the cause of trans people.

She was ranked number 93 in the Rainbow List 2014, and 68 in the Rainbow List 2015.

The decorated RAF officer is Britain's first out transgender military pilot and used the publicity after a red-top paper outed her to highlight trans issues. Holdom is the trans rep in the RAF Freedom Network, has worked with All About Trans and is on Stonewall's trans advisory group."[2]

In May 2016 she received an Attitude Pride Award.[1]
