Walthamstow is a town and former borough in the London Borough of Waltham Forest.

LGBT history

The Walthamstow (or Waltham Forest) CHE group, also known as the East London CHE Group, was founded in 1972.

The choreographer Matthew Bourne went to school in Walthamstow.
