Christopher Bailey

Christopher Bailey (born 1971, West Yorkshire) is a British fashion designer. As Chief Creative Officer of Burberry, he is responsible for the company’s overall image including all advertising, corporate art direction, store design and visuals as well as the design of all Burberry collections and product lines.
From 1996 to 2001 he was Senior Designer of Womenswear at Gucci in Milan, where he met Geert Cloet, brand designer for Miu Miu. In 2004, Cloet was diagnosed with brain cancer. He and Bailey moved to Yorkshire to be near Bailey's family. Cloet died the next year.
Christopher Bailey has been in a relationship with British actor Simon Woods since 2009.
He was ranked number 11 in the Independent on Sunday's Pink List 2011 and 95 in the World Pride Power List 2012.
