I founded the Tunbridge Wells CHE group many years ago, I've been active for a long time in Croydon Area Gay Society (CAGS), I helped to edit Out of the Shadows, a book about gay groups in London, and I'm currently an Executive Committee member of CHE and a Trustee of the LGBT Consortium. My partner and I formed a civil partnership on the first day the law allowed in England.
