Jeff Evans (born 1959) is an historian, and academic lead for LGBT History Month.
He was born in Bolton and brought up in Chequerbent. Having left school with no qualifications he worked as a joiner, before taking a part-time degree at Salford University. He lives in Manchester and Hanover, and co-ordinated the LGBT History Festival in February 2015.[1]
