Lesbian, gay, bi and trans people experience domestic violence too

Broken Rainbow is a charity which aims to relieve the distress and suffering caused to lesbians, gay men, bisexual and trans (LGBT) people by domestic violence.

Broken Rainbow helps: - LGBT people who experience homophobic, transphobic and same sex domestic violence - The wider LGBT communities - Friends and family of LGBT people - Agencies that support LGBT people - People who are responsible for domestic violence policy - Agencies involves with the survivors and perpetrators of those suffering from domestic violence

How Broken Rainbow helps - Running the only national LGBT-specific domestic violence helpline - Raising awareness of the impact of domestic violence on the lives of LGBT people - Giving information, advice and training to agencies that would like to help increase the physical safety and mental well-being of LGBT people who experience domestic violence

The Helpline Broken Rainbow's helpline number is 0300 999 5428. It is open Mondays and Thursdays 2-8pm and Wednesdays 10am-5pm. Broken Rainbow also provide email support which can be accessed by emailing help@broken-rainbow.org.uk.

Donations Donations can be made to Broken Rainbow by texting BRUK11 £2/5/10 to 70070. eg BRUK11 £5 to donate £5.
