Royal Holloway, University of London, is a constituent college of the University of London, located in Egham, Surrey. It was founded in 1879 by the philanthropist Thomas Holloway, and originally was for women only, but has been coeducational since 1965. In 1985 it merged with Bedford College. The original Founder's Building is a prominent example of Victorian Gothic.
