Jonathan Phang

Jonathan Phang is a TV chef and former model agent.
He was born in London to a Guyanese mother and Chinese father.[1]
In 1989, Jonathan was hosting a party aboard the pleasure boat The Marchioness, when it was rundown by the dredger Bowbelle and sank, killing 51 passengers.[1]
He was listed number 69 on the World Pride Power List 2014 and 71 on the Pride Power List 2016. The 2014 citation said:
- "After many years working in the fashion industry, Phang began a new career as a chef, specialising in food from the Caribbean. He also hosts travel and cookery programmes on TV."[2]
The 2016 citation said:
- "A former model agent and judge on Britain’s Next Top Model, Phang also writes and presents for gay news website, Outnews Global."[3]
