Freedom Youth is a group for young people in Bristol, run by Off The Record.
"Freedom is a fun, safe, inclusive and supportive project where you can meet other lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer or questioning young people. It’s open to anyone questioning their sexuality or gender – no labels applied!"[1]

Maureen Hand was appointed the first youth worker to Freedom Youth when it was set up with National Lottery funding [2].

In 2015 Freedom Youth, described as Bristol’s longest running LGBTQ youth group, was nominated for Best Support Group in the ShoutOut Listeners’ Award.[3]
