Stephen Beresford
Stephen Beresford (born 1972,[1] formerly Stephen Roberts[2]) is an actor and writer. He wrote the screenplay for Pride.

He was born in London,[2] and grew up in Dartmouth.[3]

He was listed number 17 in the Rainbow List 2014. The citation said:

"This actor-turned-playwright-turned-screenwriter’s most recent project is Pride, the stirring Brit-hit about the solidarity between a Welsh village and gay and lesbian activists during the 1984 miners’ strike – which should be a leading player in the imminent awards season."[4]
