West Brompton is an area of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in West London, near to Earl's Court. It is noted for the Earl's Court exhibition centre and Brompton Cemetery.
LGBT history
The Redcliffe Hotel on the Fulham Road flourished for a time as Manhattens gay bar in the 1980s, but eventually returned to a straight clientele.
The Imperial Arms in Lillie Road reopened as a gay pub in 2015.
