Gabriel Lawrence, a milk man, widow and father, was tried at the Old Bailey for the crime of sodomy with Thomas Newton aged 30 after a raid on the House of Margaret Clap, a Molly House.
Grabriel Lawrence was hanged on 9 May 1726 at Tyburn (with William Griffin, and Thomas Wright) and then taken to Surgeon’s Hall to be dissected.
