Waheed Alli, Baron Alli (born 1964) is a businessman and Labour politician. His parents are both from the West Indies, but of Asian hertiage: his father is Muslim, from Guyana, and his mother Hindu, from Trinidad. Alli himself is Muslim. He has two brothers, one Muslim and one Hindu.
