The Boltons (now called The Bolton),Old Brompton Road, Earls Court, was a gay pub in the 1970s. During the 1980s it was known as one of the seedier gay venues, with drugs and prostitutes helping to create a pretty depressing atmosphere. The brewery eventually called time changing it to a Victorian Dining room and later an Irish Theme pub. Kensington and Chelsea Council applied for Grade 2 listing by Historic England and was confirmed in 2024 [1]. The name of the pub is now The Bolton with no s.
