Out Proud & Equal in Northamptonshire (OPEN) was an LGBT community group.
- "Unfortunately OPEN is looking to dissolve in the Autumn 2012 due to 9 months of inactivity and the emergence of 2 new successful groups in the county called "FAN" and "Progress" that are doing similar work."[1]
- "For the last five years, since the collapse of the Northamptonshire Lesbian Gay and Bisexual Alliance (NLGBA), there has been limited support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or questioning (LGBTQ) youngsters in the county. ... However, this is about to change as The Lowdown, with support from NHS Northampton and Northampton Volunteering Centre, has announced it is starting a new countywide helpline and town centre-based support group."[2]
