C K Scott Moncrieff (1889–1930) was a writer, best known for translating Proust's À la recherche du temps perdu into English under the title of Remembrance of Things Past.Charles Kenneth Michael Scott Moncrieff was born at Weedingshall, Stirlingshire. He was educated at Winchester College and Edinburgh University.
