North Down and Ards (red)
North Down and Ards is the provisional name of one of the new local government districts for Northern Ireland to come into use from 2015. It corresponds to two existing local government districts, the Borough of North Down and the Borough of Ards. The main towns are Bangor, County Down and Newtownards.

LGBT history

Gay & Lesbian Across Down (GLAD) was a social/support group for the LGBT Community in North Down and Ards.[1] It closed down in 2013.[2]
