Casey Stoney in white football kit being interviewed
Casey Stoney representing Great Britain, July 2012
Casey Stoney (born 1982) is a footballer. She plays for Lincoln Ladies in the FA WSL (FA Women's Super League). She has played many times for England. In 2012 she was appointed Captain of the England team, and also captained the Team GB team in the London 2012 Olympics.

She was listed number 50 in the Pink List 2012. The Pink List citation said:

"The England women's football captain led Team GB in an impressive performance at London 2012. The defender has been capped more than 100 times for England and also captains Lincoln Ladies — one of a few clubs pioneering the women's game not affiliated to a men's team."[1]
