Paris Lees is a transgendered journalist and editor of Meta magazine. She describes herself as "trans and feminist".[1]

She won a Lifetime Achievement Award in the Independent on Sunday's Pink List 2011 and was one of the judges for the Pink List 2012.

"Paris Lees, a leading equality campaigner, edits META, a new digital magazine that celebrates gender diversity. Lees also writes for Gay Times, The Guardian and The Independent and works regularly with Trans Media Action, Channel 4 and the BBC. She was named Positive Role Model for LGBT at this year's National Diversity Awards."[2]
