Manchester Sharks, established in July 2007, is the north of England's first Gay and Lesbian water polo club. The club holds weekly training sessions at Miles Platting Pools & Health Suite, Varley Street, Manchester. There are also monthly women-only sessions.Manchester Sharks competes in the Bolton and District Water Polo League as well as national and international gay tournaments, and participates in some of the world's largest sporting events.
