Gabriel Lawrence, a milk man, widow and father, was tried at the Old Bailey for the crime of sodomy with Thomas Newton aged 30 after a raid on the House of Margaret Clap, a Molly House. Grabriel Lawrence was hanged and then taken to Surgeon’s Hall to be dissected.
