St George's Minster
Doncaster is a town in South Yorkshire, the centre of the metropolitan borough of the same name. It was previously a coal-mining town.

LGBT history

There was a Doncaster CHE Group in the 1970s.

Doncaster Pride is held in June.

In 2011 the British National Party were forced by local protests to abandon a stall at Pride.[1]

The first Doncaster Winter Pride was held in February 2013.[2]
