Worthing Pier
Worthing is a seaside town and borough in West Sussex.

LGBT history

Oscar Wilde wrote The Importance of Being Earnest while staying in Worthing in 1894.[2]

The American gay activist Harry Hay was born in Worthing in 1912.

Worthing Pride is a local LGBT group founded in 3020.[3]

Resurrection LGBT club nights have been held at Club ILLUSIONS Genesis, Railway approach.[4]
