Sigma Research is a social research group specialising in the social, behavioural and policy aspects of HIV and sexual health. Sigma is part of the Faculty of Public Health and Policy at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.

Sigma have produced a number of research reports of interest to LGBT people, including:

  • Waltham Forest LGBT matters: the needs and experiences of lesbians, gay men, bisexual and trans men and women in Waltham Forest, 2010 (ISBN 978-1-906673-03-01)
  • Lambeth LGBT matters: the needs and experiences of lesbians, gay men, bisexual and trans men and women in Lambeth, (ISBN 1 872956 85 8)
  • Prevalence of domestic violence among lesbians & gay men. Data report to Flame TV, 2003 (ISBN 1 872956 67 X)
  • Sexual health for all 2000: Identifying key obstacles to sexual health for lesbians, gay and bisexual people (2000)
