Broken Rainbow is a charity which aims to relieve the distress and suffering caused to lesbians, gay men, bisexual and trans (LGBT) people by domestic violence.Contents
Lesbian, gay, bi and trans people experience domestic violence too
Broken Rainbow helps:
- LGBT people who experience homophobic, transphobic and same sex domestic violence
- The wider LGBT communities
- Friends and family of LGBT people
- Agencies that support LGBT people
- People who are responsible for domestic violence policy
- Agencies involved with the survivors and perpetrators of those suffering from domestic violence
How Broken Rainbow helps
- Running the only national LGBT-specific domestic violence helpline
- Raising awareness of the impact of domestic violence on the lives of LGBT people
- Giving information, advice and training to agencies that would like to help increase the physical safety and mental well-being of LGBT people who experience domestic violence.
