North Wales Police
North Wales Police (Welsh: Heddlu Gogledd Cymru) is the police service coverning the preserved counties of Gwynedd and Clwyd in North Wales. It was formed in 1967 and was intitally called Gwynedd Constabulary, changing its name in 1974 when the county of Gwynedd was formed. In terms of current local government areas, the force covers Anglesey, Conwy, Gwynedd, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham.

In 2005, the Chief Constable of North Wales apologised after calling homosexuals "queer".[1]

In April 2012, a lesbian PCSO was sent to prison for passing confidential information to other gay people.[2]
