The Cumbria & The Borders CHE:SHRG Group was a joint CHE and SHRG group for Cumbria and the Scottish Borders. It was founded in 1973 by Richard Webster, and later run by Alwin Stockdale until the early 1990s. It held monthly meetings in the Old Town Hall, Carlisle, and later became a Gay Community Group.[1]
